Over fifty years of activity, Ceresio Estate has welcomed thousands of musicians, bringing together generations, schools and artistic sensibilities throughout the Lake Lugano region.

Particular attention has always been devoted to young talents, from Ticino and beyond, featured in the section Young Artists in the Spotlight.

At the heart of this search was Lucienne Rosset, deeply connected to the world of music and concert life. Through the relationships she built over the years with teachers and musicians, also within the RSI environment, she carefully followed the most promising students, attending their performances personally. Whenever she recognised an authentic artistic presence, a rare sensitivity or a distinctive musical voice, she invited them to perform within the festival.

It is also thanks to her remarkable intuition that some internationally recognised artists experienced here one of their first important concert appearances.
