Musicians from the Teatro alla Scala
On 28 June at 8.30 pm, violinist Davide Alogna will perform at Spazio Garavello 7 in Morcote with musicians from the Teatro alla Scala. The concert opens the “Sonorità scaligere” cycle and brings the sound of one of Italy’s leading musical institutions to Lake Lugano.
The programme reveals the violin in many different colours: from Italian Baroque to South American rhythms, from chamber elegance to virtuoso brilliance. The result is a varied evening centred on the expressive power of the instrument and on the quality of an ensemble formed by experienced orchestral musicians.
For Ceresio Estate, the concert also stands as a sign of the connection between international musical experience and the historic places of the Ceresio.
