Lino Liviabella
LINO LIVIABELLA IN DIALOGUE WITH RESPIGHI AND RAVEL
7 August 2026, 8.30 pm
Tesserete, Church of Santo Stefano
Liviabella String Quartet
On 7 August at 8.30 pm, Ceresio Estate devotes an evening in the Church of Santo Stefano in Tesserete to the music of Lino Liviabella, in dialogue with Ottorino Respighi and Maurice Ravel.
The concert sheds light on a lesser-known strand of twentieth-century Italian music, far from both opera and the avant-garde, yet rich in lyrical tension, formal clarity and chamber refinement.
The Liviabella String Quartet brings this path into focus through a programme that connects memory and modernity, Italian sound culture and a wider European perspective.
Free admission.
